Implementation Success Training   

Commtest is presenting, another 3-day “Implementation Success Training” course hosted by Vibranalysis Instruments Southern Africa, where the primary focus is to build user confidence in building a effective database structure for vibration data collection and analysis and introduced to basic balancing principles utilizing software programs and hardware in the Commtest toolkit.

About the Trainer:
Dennis H. Shreve, CMRP, VA III holds both B.E.E. and M.Sc. E.E. degrees from The Ohio State University with specialization in high-speed data communications. He has 40 years of experience in designing and developing electronics and software systems and leading projects for real-time industrial process monitoring and control applications. Over the past 21 years, he has specialized in predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies and vibration detection, analysis, and correction methods for maintaining machinery health.

Class participants will:

  • load the Ascent® software on training lab computers
  • build a database and routes
  • practice communications with the vbSeries® analyzers
  • learn basic skills for data collection
  • communicate actual data back into the Ascent® software
  • data manipulation: charting, views and reporting
  • add alarm bands and envelopes
  • basic principles of rotor balancing including; plotting and vectors
